Introduction

Acorn by Synergie are working with an established print business to recruit a Print Account Manager / Account Handler to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced print professional who enjoys working closely with customers and coordinating projects from initial enquiry and quotation through to production and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the large-format print industry, although candidates with a strong background in other areas of print will also be considered.

The Role

As a Print Account Manager / Account Handler, you will be a key point of contact for customers, managing print projects from the initial brief and quotation through to production and delivery.

You will work closely with customers, estimating, artwork, production, finishing and dispatch to ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Manage customer accounts and build strong, long-term relationships.

Handle customer enquiries, briefs, quotations and orders.

Prepare accurate quotes and job specifications.

Liaise with production and artwork teams to ensure projects run smoothly.

Co-ordinate artwork, proofs, samples and customer approvals.

Monitor live jobs, deadlines and production schedules.

Keep customers updated throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage changes to specifications, costs and deadlines.

Co-ordinate finishing, fulfilment and delivery requirements.

Liaise with suppliers and couriers where required.

Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.

Maintain accurate account, quotation and project records.

Support invoicing and identify opportunities for additional products and services.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with experience within the print industry who is confident dealing with customers and managing projects from brief through to completion.

Large-format print experience would be ideal, but candidates from other commercial print backgrounds will also be considered.

You are likely to have:

Previous experience in a customer-facing print role.

Good knowledge of print processes, materials and finishing.

Ideally, experience in large-format, POS, display, packaging, screen or digital print.

Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.

The ability to work effectively with customers and production teams.

A proactive, commercially aware approach.
