Our client is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their growing Glasgow team and play a key role in the successful delivery of projects across the residential, commercial, education, and healthcare sectors.

You'll work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering solutions.

The Role
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will:
·Lead the electrical design and delivery of building services projects.
·Manage projects through all stages, from feasibility and concept design to construction and handover.
·Produce and review calculations, specifications, reports, and technical documentation.
·Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and technicians.
·Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
·Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams.
·Support project planning, resource allocation, and programme management.
·Contribute to business development activities and client engagement.
What We're Looking For
·Extensive experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy environment.
·Strong technical knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
·Experience delivering projects within residential, commercial, education, and healthcare sectors.
·Proven ability to manage projects and lead design teams.
·Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
·Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
·Chartered Engineer status or progress towards Chartership is desirable.
