Principle Programme Manager – 6 Months - £925 pd Umbrella – DV Cleared – Construction Projects – Government
One of our government clients is looking for an experienced Principle Programme Manager to join them for a 6 month contract. They are offering £925 per day INSIDE IR35.
Our client is based near Milton Keynes - commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton or Central London. They are offering hybrid working, with 3 days per week onsite.
This role is working in a Security Cleared environment. You will need to be SC or DV (developed vetting) cleared or eligible to undertake SC or DV Security Clearance.
As the Principle Programme Manager, you will provide leadership across the project lifecycle from concept and initiation through to handover and operational acceptance, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality standards. You will provide visible leadership, maintain effective governance and project controls, and ensure delivery remains aligned to customer requirements and organisational objectives. You will also be responsible for developing high-performing project teams and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and delivery excellence.
Experience Required:
* Significant experience leading complex engineering, infrastructure, construction or security projects.
* Demonstrable experience leading portfolios of large-scale projects and programmes.
* Proven experience leading Senior Project Managers and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
* Strong commercial and financial management experience.
* Experience managing projects through the full lifecycle from initiation to operational handover.
* Strong understanding of governance, assurance, risk and issue management.
* Experience operating in secure or highly regulated environments.
* Experience of NEC4, GC Works or FIDIC forms of contract.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
* Prince2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, ISEB Certificate in Project Management or equivalent.
* Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) or working towards.
* Knowledge of CDM 2015 and Health & Safety requirements.
* Overseas project delivery experience. (Desirable)
* Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, CIBSE or equivalent. (Desirable)
* Knowledge of MoR, MSP and MoV. (Desirable)
* Experience within government or secure environments. (Desirable)
