The Role

As a Principal or Associate Mechanical Engineer, you'll lead the design and delivery of a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You'll work closely with clients, architects, and fellow engineers while helping to shape the technical direction of projects from concept through to completion.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring others, taking ownership, and being a key contributor to both project delivery and the wider business.

Responsibilities

Lead the mechanical design and delivery of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.
Manage projects through all RIBA stages.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Mentor and support junior engineers, helping to develop the next generation of talent.
Review and oversee technical designs to ensure quality and compliance.
Collaborate with the wider leadership team and contribute to the ongoing growth of the business.
Attend client and design team meetings and provide technical leadership throughout project delivery.About You

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
Significant experience within a building services consultancy environment.
Experience delivering residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
Strong technical knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Chartered status or working towards Chartership is desirable.
Passionate about mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a collaborative team environment.What's on Offer
