Principal Traffic Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Produce accurate financial estimates and statistics for specific projects.
Monitor project progress and expenditure, ensuring adherence to financial limits and budgetary arrangements.
Comply with all financial recording systems for staff time allocation, expenditure, income, and associated financial transactions.
Professional Duties:
Assist in preparing Conditions of Contract, Specifications, Bills of Quantities, and other tender documents.
Take responsibility for executing assigned work and supervising junior staff or subcontractors.
Conduct various engineering tasks, including report interpretation, designing less complex engineering schemes, producing drawings, and analysing local consultations.
Ensure contracts and agreements meet specifications, performance, quality targets, budgetary constraints, and statutory requirements.
Managerial Tasks:
Supervise and train junior staff as necessary.
Handle correspondence, queries, and complaints according to agreed procedures.
Write and present reports related to your work.
Attend public meetings and address questions as needed.
