Principal Systems Verification Engineer
Initial 12 Month Contract
Hybrid/Remote mostly….2 days per fortnight on site
£76.86 Per Hour (Inside IR35)
Our client is a leading global defence, security, and aerospace company, and are seeking talented and driven Systems Verification Engineers to join their project teams working on submarine programmes. As a Systems Verification Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced systems for cutting-edge defence projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and protocols for system verification activities.
Conduct thorough testing of submarine systems, including hardware, software, and integrated systems.
Analyse and interpret test data to assess system performance, identify areas for improvement, and troubleshoot any anomalies or failures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including systems engineers, software developers, and integration specialists, to ensure seamless integration and verification of complex systems.
Generate comprehensive reports documenting test results, observations, and recommendations for system enhancements or modifications.
Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to system verification and validation.Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Proven experience in system verification and validation, preferably in a complex engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Familiarity with submarine systems, such as propulsion, navigation, communication, or weapon systems, is highly desirable.
Proficiency in analysing and interpreting test data using statistical techniques and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of safety and security regulations related to defence industry products.
Due to the nature of this role you will need to have excellent team skills, be self-motivated, fast-learning and have the ability to prioritise and manage your own work with minimal guidance.
