Help define how the next generation of wireless communications technology is tested.
Most test engineering roles are about validating existing products.
This opportunity is different.
AccelerComm develops high-performance Physical Layer technology that powers some of the world's most advanced 5G and satellite communication systems. As the business continues to grow, they're looking for a Principal System Test Engineer to take ownership of how complex wireless products are verified, automated and validated.
Working alongside highly experienced Algorithm, Software, FPGA and Systems Engineers, you'll design and develop scalable automated test capability, build Python-based test frameworks, integrate RF instrumentation and help shape the future of the company's verification strategy.
This is a hands-on role where your ideas will directly influence engineering quality, automation and the way products are developed and released.
What you'll be doing
* Designing and developing automated Python-based test systems.
* Developing scalable verification frameworks for advanced wireless communications products.
* Integrating and automating RF test equipment including spectrum analysers, signal generators and VNAs.
* Defining test strategies from system requirements and 3GPP specifications.
* Working closely with Software, FPGA, Systems and Algorithm Engineers to solve complex technical challenges.
* Supporting customer demonstrations and occasional international customer engagements.
We're interested in engineers with experience in:
* RF or Wireless System Test
* Python test automation
* 4G/5G, LTE or digital communications
* RF measurement equipment
* System integration and verification
* Embedded systems or wireless communications
Experience with 3GPP, lab automation, CI/CD, Hardware-in-the-Loop, ORAN or satellite communications would be beneficial but is not essential.
