Principal Scientist

A well known Drug Discovery laboratory is looking for a Principal Scientist to join them on a permanent, full time basis. The successful scientist will play a leading role in the design and development of new treatments for specific diseases.

Key Responsibilities for the Principal Scientist

Responsible for the Analytical and Characterisation techniques for the development of Hydrogels.
Lead the team of R+D Scientists for formulation of Hydrogels.
Participate and sometimes lead project work as required.
Writing technical documentation, such as reports and batch manufacturing records.
Assisting with validation activities such as  PQ, OQ IQ and DQ.
Create and update protocols and reports.
Requirements for the Principal Scientist

PhD in Chemistry or related subject.
Minimum of 2 years working within pharmaceutical formulation.
An understanding of Hydrogels is an advantage but not essential.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with external suppliers.
