Undertake the analysis and design of shallow and deep foundations, including piled foundations.

Design and assess retaining structures, earthworks, slopes and ground improvement solutions.

Carry out slope stability, settlement, bearing capacity and foundation assessments.

Provide technical advice on ground conditions, geotechnical risks and appropriate engineering solutions.

Ensure designs comply with Eurocode 7, British Standards and relevant industry guidance.

Coordinate with civil, structural and other engineering disciplines.

Review and check technical designs and support junior engineers where required.

Manage technical deliverables to agreed project programmes and deadlines.

Essential Requirements

Significant experience in geotechnical design within an engineering consultancy.

Experience operating at Senior or Principal Engineer level.

Strong knowledge of foundation engineering, retaining structures, slope stability and earthworks.

Proven ability to interpret ground investigation data and develop ground models.

Excellent understanding of Eurocode 7 and UK geotechnical design standards.
