Suitable for an experienced fire engineering professional with 7+ years of consultancy experience, the position involves leading technical delivery, preparing fire strategies, mentoring engineers and working with clients, design teams and approving authorities across complex building projects.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead technical delivery and quality assurance across projects
Prepare and review fire strategies for complex developments
Apply performance-based and prescriptive fire engineering approaches
Mentor engineers and support technical knowledge sharing
Liaise with clients, design teams and approving authorities
Skills & Experience Required
Degree in Fire Engineering or related engineering discipline
7+ years of fire engineering consultancy experience
Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance
Experience preparing fire strategies and technical documentation
Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartership
Salary & Benefits
£60,000 - £80,000 dependent on experience
Hybrid working with two office days weekly
