A nationally recognised fire engineering consultancy is seeking a Principal Fire Engineer to join their growing team in Manchester. This Principal Fire Engineer opportunity has arisen due to continued project wins across the residential, commercial, healthcare and mixed-use sectors
.
The successful Principal Fire Engineer will play a key role in leading complex projects, managing client relationships and supporting the development of a talented fire engineering team. The Principal Fire Engineer will be entrusted with delivering innovative fire engineering solutions whilst helping to shape the future direction of the business.

This Principal Fire Engineer position offers a blend of technical leadership, project delivery and strategic input, making it ideal for an experienced Principal Fire Engineer seeking greater influence within a respected consultancy environment.

The Principal Fire Engineer's Role

The Principal Fire Engineer will lead the delivery of fire engineering services across a diverse project portfolio, providing expert advice to clients, design teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include:

Producing and reviewing complex fire strategies
Leading performance-based fire engineering assessments
Managing key client relationships
Supporting Building Safety Act and Gateway submissions
Providing technical leadership to project teams
Mentoring and developing Fire Engineers and Senior Fire Engineers
Contributing to business development activities
Representing the consultancy at client and industry meetings
Reviewing technical reports and project deliverablesThe Principal Fire Engineer
The successful Principal Fire Engineer will ideally have:

A degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline
Extensive consultancy experience within fire engineering
Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Approved Document B
Experience leading multidisciplinary projects
Excellent report writing and presentation skills
Chartered status or active progression towards Chartership
A proven ability to develop and maintain client relationshipsIn Return?
