A highly respected, award-winning UK consultancy is seeking a Principal Engineering Geologist to join their expanding team in Leeds. This specialist firm delivers geotechnical and geoenvironmental solutions across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and energy sectors, offering a full project lifecycle service from initial ground investigation through to detailed design and construction support.

Ongoing professional development within an industry-leading consultancyAs a Principal Engineering Geologist, you will take on a varied role combining geotechnical design and ground investigation. The Principal Engineering Geologist will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team, planning and supervising site investigations, interpreting ground data, and producing high-quality reports. The Principal Engineering Geologist will also contribute to foundation design, earthworks, slope stability, and ground movement assessments, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.
Requirements:
Strong experience in geotechnical design and/or ground investigation
Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology or related field
Ability to manage projects and deliver technical reports
Have or be working towards chartership
Full UK driving licence
Full right to work in the UK
