We're working with a major UK organisation looking for an experienced Principal Building Surveyor to join a growing Advisory team.
This is an opportunity to step into a genuinely senior position where you'll combine technical leadership, project delivery, commercial responsibility and client development.
You'll be trusted to lead complex building surveying commissions, influence multidisciplinary teams and become a key technical voice across a diverse project portfolio.
???? WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Lead and mentor building surveying teams
Deliver complex condition surveys, defect diagnosis, dilapidations, measured surveys and Party Wall matters
Prepare specifications, reports, schedules and technical documentation
Act as Contract Administrator and Project Manager
Manage project budgets, risks and commercial performance
Support refurbishment, maintenance and capital works programmes
Provide trusted technical advice to clients and senior stakeholders
Act as Principal Designer where required
Lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple projects
Support bids, frameworks and work-winning opportunities
Develop existing client relationships and create new opportunities
Mentor and develop the next generation of Building Surveyors ????️ THE PROJECTS

???? WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor who wants to make an impact.
Ideally, you'll have:
✔️ RICS, CIOB or equivalent Chartered status
✔️ Strong consultancy-based Building Surveying experience
✔️ Excellent knowledge of building pathology and construction technology
✔️ Strong contract administration and project management experience
✔️ Experience with CDM 2015 and Principal Designer duties
✔️ Excellent client-facing and communication skills
✔️ Commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets
✔️ Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
✔️ An interest in business development and winning work
