An esteemed specialist engineering consultancy, acclaimed for its expertise in fire safety services within the built environment, is actively seeking a Principal/Associate Fire Engineer to spearhead their North-West Fire Engineering Team. This consultancy is lauded for its innovative solutions and pioneering designs across a comprehensive range of fire engineering services, which include strategy design and analysis, audits, external wall safety, risk assessments, and building safety case services. The Principal/Associate Fire Engineer's Role

The appointed Principal/Associate Fire Engineer will helm the Liverpool-based North-West Fire Engineering Team, with responsibilities including:

Overseeing financial performance, including profit and loss and debt management.
Driving growth through strategic recruitment as required.
Ensuring the wellbeing and professional development of team members.
Upholding the technical delivery and quality of work produced by the team.
Managing administrative tasks efficiently.Primary Service Delivery

The Fire Engineering Division prides itself on excellence, offering services such as:

Design and development of fire safety strategies.
External wall fire safety assessments and remediation.
Fire engineering analysis and assessments, including computational fluid dynamics and evacuation modelling.
Expert advisory and witness services.
Fire safety audits, peer reviews, and safety case development.Additional Responsibilities

Leading business development activities to secure new projects and maintain client relationships.
Providing technical supervision, guidance, and coaching to junior staff.
Serving as a key point of contact for clients on projects.
Contributing to the development of fee proposals.
Working across various sectors including residential, commercial, and industrial.Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Principal/Associate Fire Engineer role will have:

A Level 6 qualification (BEng or BSc).
Proficiency with fire standards such as BS9999, BS9991, BS7974.
In-depth knowledge of UK fire safety legislation.
A proven track record in technical delivery and project management.
Membership in the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) or equivalent, with aspirations towards achieving chartered status.
Strong business development and client relationship skills.
A proactive and ambitious approach.
Experience in team leadership and development.
CFD modelling experience is advantageous.In Return?
