Your Role as a Teaching Assistant:
Support classroom activities by assisting students and collaborating with teachers to enhance learning experiences.
Supporting Classroom Activities: Assisting the teacher in preparing materials and setting up activities for lessons.
Working with Individual Students: Providing support to individual students who may require extra help with their learning or behaviour.
Group Work: Facilitating small group activities and supporting cooperative learning among students.
Assessment and Feedback: Assisting with the assessment of students' work and providing feedback under the guidance of the teacher.
Behaviour Management: Helping to maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment, supporting the implementation of behaviour management strategies.
Administrative Tasks: Undertaking administrative tasks such as record-keeping, organizing resources, and preparing displays of students' work.
Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support: Working with students with special educational needs, following specific plans and adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
Communication: Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and well-being.
Health and Safety: Ensuring the health and safety of students during activities and in the classroom environment.
Professional Development: Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
