Do you have a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or experience working as a Primary Teaching Assistant within a UK primary school?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Bradford that is looking to recruit a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant for day-to-day cover from September. The school has built a fantastic reputation for providing staff with all the resources they need to succeed and is recognised for maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
The school is looking to appoint a flexible Primary Teaching Assistant on a part-time basis to provide day-to-day cover across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support whole-class learning, deliver small group interventions when required, uphold safeguarding procedures and work closely with class teachers to ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.
The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
Previous experience working within a UK primary school
A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Experience supporting whole-class learning and small group interventions
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable attitude
