A fantastic primary school in Devizes are searching for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join them this term in their Key Stage 1 (KS1) class. This is a two-form entry Devizes primary school graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. The Head Teacher is searching for a graduate to join them on a long-term basis as soon as possible. They ideally would like to meet teaching assistants who have previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting. Many of the Wiltshire Primary Students have SEND/SEN/SENCO needs, ranging for challenging behaviours, difficult home lives, ASD and ADHD.
£83 - £90 per day!
Primary Teaching Assistant requirements:
Enhanced child DBS (Mandatory)
Experience working with KS1/ children aged 5 - 11 years old or young people with additional care needs (SEN)
Experience with behaviours that are challenging
A calm & caring personality
A strong and resilient personality and commitment to pupil's development
Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
Team Teach trained (desirable)
Desirable qualifications:
Degree 2:2 and higher - Childcare, Education, Psychology, Criminology, Sociology or STEM subjects.
HTLA/NQV Level 2/3 Childcare/EYFS experience
