Primary Teaching Assistant
Salary: £80 – £95 per day
Location: Ashington, Northumberland
Start Date: ASAP
GSL Education are currently working with a number of Primary schools in the Ashington area who are looking to hire Teaching Assistants to work within classrooms in both Key Stages 1 and 2.
The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of a team within the classroom helping and supporting students during the school day. The job role requires the candidates to work Monday – Friday, and the working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm. This will be an immediate start.
Essential Requirements:
Be able to work alongside teachers providing support for students.
Be able to quickly establish positive relationships.
Support students both inside as well as outside classroom premises.
Possessing good communication and interpersonal skills.
Be enthusiastic and proactive in the classroom.
Having prior experience of working in schools or care-based role would be ideal.
A relevant, recognisable qualification is desirable, but not essential.
Have a kind, calm, and enthusiastic outlook with great work ethic.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one immediately).
Valid career and/or academic history, covering last ten years fully.
