Remedy Education is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Primary Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 class in the SE5 area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about primary education who enjoys helping pupils develop their confidence, engage with learning and reach their full potential.
The Role
Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
Work with Year 5 pupils to reinforce learning across the primary curriculum.
Provide additional support to pupils who need help understanding tasks and concepts.
Assist with preparing classroom resources and learning materials.
Help maintain a positive, safe and engaging learning environment.
Encourage pupils' participation, confidence and independence.
Support classroom behaviour and work collaboratively with the teaching team.
The Ideal Candidate
Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
Be confident supporting Key Stage 2 pupils.
Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
Be patient, proactive and enthusiastic about supporting children's learning.
Be confident helping pupils with different abilities and learning needs.
