The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Primary Teacher to join our dynamic team, teaching KS1 or lower KS2. In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will take on the exciting role of Science Lead, promoting and enhancing the science curriculum across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS1 or lower KS2.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential.
Lead and develop the science curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning in this subject.
Assess, track, and report on the progress of pupils, providing feedback that supports their learning journey.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the well-being and academic progress of all students.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and development opportunities.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in KS1 or lower KS2.
A strong passion for teaching and an enthusiasm for promoting science education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to inspire and motivate all pupils.
Experience in curriculum development or a willingness to undertake professional development in this area.What We Offer:
