Connex Education is working in partnership with Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust (BWMAT) to recruit passionate Primary Teachers for Upper Key Stage 2 opportunities across schools in Bath & North East Somerset.

Whether you're an experienced Year 5 or Year 6 teacher, or a confident primary practitioner looking to move into Upper KS2, we have a range of day-to-day, short-term, long-term and potential permanent opportunities to suit your career goals.

The Role

Teach engaging and inspiring lessons within Upper Key Stage 2
Plan, deliver and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum
Prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school, including SATs where appropriate
Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are welcome to apply
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Upper KS2
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment expectations
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching
Commitment to raising standards and supporting every child to achieve their potential
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
