Salary: £120 - £180 per day

GSL Education is seeking a skilled Primary Teacher (SEMH Experienced) for a role in a primary school in Tyne and Wear.

Job Description:

GSL Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher with expertise in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) to join our dedicated team in Tyne and Wear. This unique role involves working in a small base within the primary school dedicated to supporting pupils with SEMH needs. You will be supported by two strong and experienced Teaching Assistants who share our commitment to providing a supportive and enriching educational environment.

Job Summary:

Teach across the primary curriculum.
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
Assess, monitor, and report on the educational progress of children.
Job Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEMH requirements.
Provide differentiated support and interventions to promote academic progress and emotional well-being.
Collaborate effectively with the SENCO, Teaching Assistants, and external agencies to support pupils' holistic development.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour management strategies.
Maintain regular communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and well-being.
Provide strong help Small group SEMH need students.
Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in a primary setting.
Proven experience and understanding of supporting pupils with SEMH needs.
Strong behaviour management skills and ability to implement effective strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
