Position: Full-Time, Temporary (Maternity Cover)

Start Date: September 2024

Salary: MPS/UPS (Inner London) based on experience

We are currently seeking a committed and passionate Primary Teacher to cover a maternity leave at a supportive and thriving primary school in Barking & Dagenham, London, beginning in September 2024.

Position Overview: As a Primary Teacher covering maternity leave, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to primary school pupils. You will maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring continuity in learning and fostering the growth and development of each student.

Key Duties:

Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that adhere to the National Curriculum.
Evaluate and monitor students' progress, offering regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
Establish a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
Adapt teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs of all students.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate educational activities.
Effectively manage classroom behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting.
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
Excellent classroom management skills.
A passion for teaching and a commitment to student growth.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the broader school community.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
