We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher for a maternity cover position at a GOOD rated Ofsted primary school in Camden, London. This full-time role begins in September 2024 and spans 12 months, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.
Role Overview: As a Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students, ensuring they make excellent progress in their learning and development. You will create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment, fostering a love of learning and supporting each student's individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate school activities and events.
Effectively manage classroom behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Proven experience teaching at the primary level, preferably in Year 3.
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
Excellent classroom management skills.
A passion for teaching and a commitment to student development.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
