Academics, in partnership with a delightful primary school in Leek, Staffordshire, are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to take on full class teacher responsibilities for a mixed Year 1/2 class. This is a full-time supply position starting in September and continuing until October half term in the first instance.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of each child.
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.
Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
Uphold the school's values and ethos, contributing to a supportive and positive school culture.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
