The Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that promote pupil engagement, progress, and achievement. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where children feel supported, challenged, and motivated to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
Differentiate learning to meet the varying needs of pupils.
Establish and maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and support extracurricular activities where appropriate.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children's development.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
