Are you passionate about teaching students with Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN) and associated learning difficulties, including Autism?
Are you a Qualified Primary Teacher with experience in Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN)? or are you currently teaching in a mainstream primary school and seeking a transition into a SEN school setting?
Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN) Specialist School
We are looking for a EYFS/KS1 Teacher / Primary Teacher for a specialist SEN school based in Kingston Upon Thames, South West London / Surrey. The school caters for children who have a primary diagnosis of Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN) and associated learning difficulties. Many children have Autism / ASC.
The school provides an excellent education for children with additional needs, and they really care about their staff members' well-being and mental health. They have incredible facilities and resources available. This KS1 Teacher / Primary Teacher position is open to Early Careers Teachers (ECT).
EYFS/KS1 Teacher / Primary Teacher
Therapeutic and holistic teaching approach
Primary specialist with phonics experience
Experience teaching children with Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN), Autism, and associated learning difficulties
Positive role model to support with communication, with a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach
Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students
Has a flexible approach and is able to work well with others

Working with Multidisciplinary therapy teams
Extensive specialist training from SLCN and Autism specialists
KS1 Teacher / Primary Teacher Requirements
QTS or QTLS required
