Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher to join our supply team, working across a welcoming Multi-Academy Trust in Sheffield. The Role

As a KS1 Supply Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging, creative and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 1.

Plan and adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils, following school schemes of work where appropriate.

Foster a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Support pupils' academic progress, social development and confidence during these important early learning years.

Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies and expectations.

Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.

Maintain continuity of learning and high standards in the absence of the class teacher.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1 in a UK primary school.

A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective early years teaching strategies.

Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to quickly establish positive relationships.

A flexible, adaptable approach and confidence working across different school settings.

A genuine passion for helping young learners develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.

Essential Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

The right to work in the UK.

Two satisfactory professional references covering the last two years.

Recent teaching experience within a UK primary school, ideally in Key Stage 1.
