Salary: £160 - £240 per day
Are you a qualified Primary Teacher with experience teaching Key Stage 2 / KS2?
Can you inspire Year 5 pupils with engaging lessons that build their confidence and independence?
Do you have strong classroom management and sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Altrincham. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is seeking a Primary Teacher to join its Key Stage 2 team.
This full-time, long-term Primary Teacher role starts after October half term and involves teaching a Year 5 class. You will deliver engaging lessons, adapt teaching to meet pupils’ learning needs and maintain positive classroom behaviour to support their progress.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status / QTS
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 / KS2, particularly Year 5
Sound knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment of pupil progress
Excellent classroom management and the ability to adapt lessons for different learning needs
Strong communication skills and a patient, enthusiastic approach
