TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Derby that is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher. The school promotes positive values and provides a welcoming, supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher to work on a long-term, part-time basis from September 2026 until July 2027, teaching a Year 6 class every Monday to Wednesday. The successful Primary Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil progress and maintain a positive classroom environment, with dedicated PPA time provided.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS, with ECTs also welcomed to apply
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school
• A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
