The Role
You will be instrumental in providing engaging and inclusive learning experiences for primary-aged pupils, working flexibly across different year groups and schools as needed. Role Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Adapt teaching and resources to meet individual learning needs
Assess and monitor pupil progress regularly
Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour
Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
Follow school safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and other staff to maximise learning
Provide effective short-term cover by following existing lesson plans and routines
Skills and Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
At least 6 months’ UK classroom teaching experience
Excellent knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
Confidence teaching within EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities
Ability to differentiate lessons for a range of abilities and needs
Positive, reliable and adaptable approach to teaching
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain
Ability to provide references covering the most recent 24 months
