TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a thriving and aspirational primary school based in Derby (DE21). The school is looking to take on a full-time teacher / QTS for 3 full terms who is confident and engaging. The successful applicant will have knowledge of Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2 and experience working in primary schools and supporting a diverse group of pupils.
The successful applicant will need to meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development. Additionally, they’ll plan, prepare and present lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECT’s are also welcome)
Previous teaching experience with children
Excellent ICT skills
First Aid Qualification (preferred)
Being able to work under pressure
Organisational skills and engaging lesson plans
Experience with SEND children
Fantastic knowledge of the National Curriculum
