We are recruiting on behalf of a Good Ofsted-rated primary school in Haywards Heath seeking a talented KS2 Teacher to join their team for the remainder of the academic year. The Role

Full-time KS2 Teacher position
Starting January 2027 through to July 2027
Full class teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation, marking and assessment
Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the national curriculum
Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records
Attend staff meetings, parents' evenings and school events as required
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Suitable references covering the last two years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
