We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative EYFS Teacher to join a friendly and welcoming primary school in the London Borough of Havering. This full-time Nursery teaching position offers the opportunity to work within a well-established Early Years setting that places a strong emphasis on play-based learning, child development, and building strong foundations for future success.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Nursery class, planning and delivering engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and encourage children to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. You will work collaboratively with support staff and families to ensure every child receives the highest quality Early Years education.
The school is looking for a teacher who understands the importance of creating stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments and who can effectively assess and support children's progress across all areas of development.
Experience and qualifications needed for this role include:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Nursery
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
Experience planning child-centred and play-based learning opportunities
Ability to assess, monitor, and support children's development
Commitment to raising outcomes for all learners
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
Positive, energetic, and reflective approach to teaching
