Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity for the 2026/27 academic year?

Academics is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Eastbourne for a passionate KS2 Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2026 until July 2027.

The Role

Full-time KS2 Class Teacher.
Maternity cover for the full academic year (September 2026 - July 2027).
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assess, monitor and support pupil progress.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.

We Are Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
A positive, enthusiastic and flexible approach to teaching.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
A commitment to ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
