The Role - Year 5 Primary Teacher

As the Primary Teacher, you will lead a Year 5 class and take responsibility for delivering the curriculum and monitoring pupils' progress.

Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and teaching lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
Delivering engaging English, Maths and foundation subject lessons.
Adapting teaching to meet different learning needs.
Setting clear expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Assessing pupil progress and identifying areas for development.
Encouraging pupils to become confident and independent learners.
Working alongside teaching assistants and other school staff.

What We're Looking For

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching in a UK primary school.
Previous KS2 experience, ideally with Year 5 pupils.
Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership.
Good knowledge of the National Curriculum.
The ability to plan, deliver and assess effective lessons.
