PRIMARY YEAR 3 TEACHER
Location: Aylesbury
Start: September 2026
Full Time: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £29,344–£44,919
This is where pupils start doing more for themselves.
They don’t need constant support — they need the right structure.
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will help pupils transition into more independent learning while maintaining clear routines and expectations.
Key responsibilities
Teach the Year 3 curriculum across all subjects
Plan structured lessons with clear outcomes
Support pupils of different abilities
Encourage independence and organisation
Monitor progress and provide support
Maintain classroom routines
Communicate with staff and parents
The classroom environment
Lessons are structured and predictable
Pupils understand expectations
Learning builds steadily
Behaviour is calm and consistent
Skills and experience
Experience teaching KS2 preferred
Strong classroom management
Good organisation and planning
Ability to support varied learning needs
What success looks like
Pupils become more independent
Confidence increases
Work improves in structure and quality
QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with KS2 experience
