We are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-supported mainstream primary school in Plymouth, seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is a full-time opportunity to take responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that support pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential. The school benefits from a supportive Senior Leadership Team (SLT) who prioritise staff development, wellbeing, and collaborative working.
The Role:
Full class teaching responsibility for a Year 4 class
Planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching within a primary mainstream setting (KS2 desirable)
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management
Is passionate, proactive, and committed to pupil progress
Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
