Primary Teacher
Location: Woodchurch, Ashford
Salary: £120 to £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start date: September 2024
Contract: Full-time, long-term
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to fill Class Teacher roles at one of our primary schools in Woodchurch, Ashford. This full-time, long-term position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a selection of classes from Year R to Year 6. The ideal Primary Teacher will have experience working in primary schools and must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Primary Teacher Responsibilities:
Teach and manage a variety of classes from Year R to Year 6.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Provide PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time.
Work collaboratively with the deputy head for support and guidance.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback and support to ensure their development.
Primary Teacher Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working in primary schools as a class teacher.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
