Primary SEMH Teacher - Full-Time Supply
We are currently seeking a qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) for a full-time supply position within a specialist SEMH setting from 1st September until October half term, with the potential for the assignment to be extended through the remainder of the term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and resilient teacher who is committed to supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and making a positive impact on their educational journey.
The Role
Full-time supply position
Start date: 1st September
Initial placement until October half term
Potential extension for the full term
Teaching primary-aged pupils within a specialist setting
Creating engaging, supportive and inclusive learning experiences
Working Hours
Monday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Tuesday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Wednesday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or pupils with additional needs is desirable
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
A flexible, proactive and nurturing approach
Ability to support pupils both in and outside of the classroom environment
Additional Information
Staff are expected to maintain a professional appearance while being suitably dressed for active engagement with pupils, including outdoor learning activities and learning walks.
