We are excited to be recruiting for a Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive First School in Redditch, starting from the new academic year.

About the role:

Full-time Year 2 Teacher position
Starting from the new academic year until July 2027
Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment where all children can thrive
Working collaboratively with a dedicated and supportive staff team
Opportunity to make a lasting impact on pupils during a key stage of their educational journey

What we're looking for:

We're looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated teacher who has a genuine commitment to helping children succeed. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner who can inspire young learners and create a positive learning experience for every child.

You will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum
Be confident in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
Have high expectations for both behaviour and achievement
Be able to effectively assess, monitor, and support pupil progress
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be committed, reliable, and flexible in your approach
Have a passion for inclusive education and supporting all learners to succeedThe successful candidate will join a school that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-quality education.
