The Role

Full-time Year 5 class teacher position in Richmond upon Thames

Maternity cover starting November 2026

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

Assessing pupils' progress and supporting their individual learning needs

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policy

Working closely with support staff and the wider Richmond upon Thames school team

Attending staff meetings and parents' evenings as required

The Ideal Candidate

Holds UK QTS

Experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5

Confident classroom management skills

Organised, reliable and professional

Friendly and approachable teaching style

Available full time from November 2026

Able to travel reliably to Richmond upon Thames
