About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team in Newcastle. This role involves providing support to teachers and pupils in primary school classrooms, helping to create a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the classroom teacher with the preparation of resources and classroom activities.
Support individual pupils or small groups with their learning tasks.
Help to maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and behaviour.
Assist with administrative tasks as required.
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience working with children or young people.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Have a genuine interest in supporting the educational development of young children.
