Responsibilities: Providing whole class, one-on-one and small group support to students with Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD).
Requirements: Willing to provide personal care to children with various needs. A deep passion for working with children and a patient, empathetic approach.

2.       Pastoral SEN Teaching Assistant – Year 5 Class (Mainstream School)- Hemel Hempstead

Responsibilities: Building strong and supportive relationship 1-2-1 with student who has special educational needs (SEN) within the Year 5 class
Requirements: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students.
Additional information: Access to the schools’ fantastic facilities and resources to support. From state or the art classrooms, libraries, fully equip technology tools.

3.       1-2-1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Reception Class/ Primary/ Secondary (Mainstream School/Special Needs Schools)- Rickmansworth

Responsibilities: Revolve around providing high-quality 1-2-1 education and care for non-verbal child.
Requirements: Willing to provide personal care

Desirable requirements

Prior experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs, can be valuable.
However, experience as a teaching assistant or in a related profession working with young pupils such as: Sport Coaching, care worker roles or relates roles is desirable. 
Patience and empathy are key qualities for supporting children with special educational needs, as it often requires understanding and addressing their unique challenges.
Understanding behaviour management techniques and strategies is essential to assist students with challenging behaviours.
A strong desire and passion for supporting teachers and commitment towards the welfare and development of young pupils. This is achieved by creating a safe, inclusive learning environment where all pupils are made to feel valued despite their backgrounds or learning abilities.
