Primary Supply Teacher - flexible daily & short-term work | September 2026

£130 - £180 per day depending on experience and responsibilities

Primary Supply Teacher - responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 using the school's planning where provided
Adapt quickly to different classroom environments
Maintain positive behaviour and effective classroom management
Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
Complete marking and feedback where required
Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff

Primary Supply Teacher - requirements

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching within UK primary schools
Confidence delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Flexible, reliable and professional approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Strong understanding of safeguarding in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
