Description:
Reeson Education is inviting qualified Primary Teachers to register for daily supply opportunities across Wandsworth. This is a chance to work in a variety of local primary settings while choosing the days that fit around other commitments. Assignments may be available across Nursery, Reception and Years 1 to 6, depending on school requirements and the teacher's experience.
Primary Supply Teacher | Wandsworth | Flexible daily assignments | £140-£185 per day
Daily supply teachers provide continuity when a class teacher is absent. Some bookings may be arranged in advance and others at shorter notice. Reeson Education will discuss each assignment with the teacher before putting them forward, including the year group, location and expected responsibilities.
The role
Deliver the work provided by the school and adapt activities to suit the class.
Establish a calm, positive learning environment and follow the school's behaviour policy.
Support pupils with a range of abilities and additional learning needs.
Work with teaching assistants and school staff to keep the school day running smoothly.
Leave clear feedback for the class teacher at the end of the assignment.The ideal candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has recent primary classroom experience.
Can settle quickly into an unfamiliar school and communicate confidently with staff and pupils.
Is organised, adaptable and committed to safeguarding children.
