The Role

Depending on your experience and preference, you may be working across:

Primary: EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Secondary: KS3 and KS4 across a range of subjects

Your responsibilities may include:

Delivering engaging lessons following existing plans and schemes of work.
Maintaining positive classroom routines and behaviour.
Adapting activities to meet different learning needs.
Supporting pupil engagement, progress and participation.
Managing the classroom confidently and professionally.
Creating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
Working effectively with teaching assistants and school staff.
Adapting quickly to different schools, year groups and classroom environments.

Requirements

UK QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
Recent UK teaching experience in a primary or secondary setting.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Good subject knowledge for your teaching phase/subject.
Ability to adapt quickly to different schools and teaching environments.
Strong communication and organisation skills.
Reliable, professional and committed approach.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
