Description:

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Harlow. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a supportive school community where no two days are the same and every day brings the chance to positively impact a child's educational journey.

What You'll Be Doing

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils thrive both inside and outside the classroom by:
Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs.
Encouraging confidence, independence, and social development.
Supporting children with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties, and SEMH needs.
Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support and interventions.
Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every child can succeed.
Celebrating progress, big and small, and helping pupils reach their full potential.

Essential Requirements

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Valid Right to Work in the UK.
Ability to provide satisfactory references.
A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
