Academics are working in partnership with a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Basingstoke to recruit a dedicated Primary School Receptionist to join their front office team. About the Role
As a Primary School Receptionist, your responsibilities will include:
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, pupils, and staff.
Managing incoming telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries in a professional and welcoming manner.
Providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office.
Maintaining accurate pupil records and assisting with attendance administration.
Liaising with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies when required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience as a receptionist or administrator (school-based experience is desirable).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong IT, organisational, and time management abilities.
A warm, approachable, and professional manner.
The ability to multitask effectively and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
