Teaching Assistant - Intervention & ILP Support - Rednal

Aspire People are currently recruiting for three dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming primary school in Rednal. These full-time positions will commence in September 2026 and continue until July 2027.

The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting pupils across the school through the delivery of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and targeted intervention programmes. Working closely with class teachers and the SEND team, you will help pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups of pupils.
* Support the implementation and monitoring of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
* Work closely with teachers to identify pupils requiring additional support and adapt provision accordingly.
* Assist pupils in developing key literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
* Support children with a range of learning needs, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum.
* Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence in learning.
* Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
* Experience delivering interventions or supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
* A good understanding of strategies to support pupil progress and attainment.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach.
* A genuine passion for supporting children to succeed.
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
* Knowledge of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and targeted intervention programmes.
* Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or equivalent experience.
